This unit our top of the line Solar Power Charger. It is a very well designed and manufactured unit that provides solar power to practically all of your small gadgets, including iPod, Mobile Phones, Digital Cameras MP3, MP4 players, PDAs, etc. Anything that can be charged through a USB port can be charged with this unit!

Now we will take you step by step through each item you will find in your package.

First Impressions

The first thing you will notice about this product, is the storage box. It is sturdy and allows for protection and storage of your solar charger. When not in use, it is recommended to keep your USC unit in its storage box.

Opening the box, you will find located on the top tray, the charger unit. the insides of the box are completely lined with felt. This keeps your unit safe while not in use.

Removing the top tray reveals the bottom tray, where the connectors cable and charger are located. In most cases you will only need to use 1 of the supplied connectors, but we have included a total of 7 different kinds of connectors. The most common type of connector found is the USB power connector. If your device can be charged through a USB port, it can be simply plugged directly into the unit for charging as if you were plugging it directly into your computer. (See connector details below for more information)

The power adapter, in case you should need to charge your unit directly from a wall outlet. We have now included adapters for Europe and US standard wall outlets! It will accept input voltages of 120-240V at 50-60Hz, so it can be used anywhere in the world with a proper connector. Output is a standard DC5 V at 800mA.

Adapter Matrix
Please review our Adapter matrix below. If you do not see your model number contact us for support details. In addition to this matrix, most USB powered devices will work with the Execute Universal Solar Charger. These include iPhone, and early iPod devices. Please not that as of today, the iPod touch is not supported, and the Microsoft Zune is also not supported. This is related to the way these devices require a computer connection with software for their charging.

Adjustable Power Settings:

The USC can be set to 4 different output voltages depending on your device requirements. Be sure to check with your device to see which setting to use. This can usually be found either on the DC power adapter for your device, or the built in battery used by your device. For USB power, the typically setting is 5V

Typical Usage:

To use your Universal Solar Charger is simple. Upon receiving your unit, we recommend that you connect it to a DC outlet and charge it the first time. We have fully charged the internal battery of each unit and tested it before shipping, but some charge may have been lost since we initially tested your unit and you received it. Follow the enclosed instructions for details on how to charge your unit.

After the unit is charge, you will be able to connect your device for charging. You can also connect your device while the unit is charging.

After the initial charge, simply find a sunny place in your home or office where you can lay the unit to charge while it is not charging your device. If traveling in a car or truck, simply leave the unit opened on the dash board for charging while driving. Try to keep the internal battery always charged, so that you will always be able to connect your device and charge it any time day or night. If there is no sun for several days, you can always connect it to a DC outlet, charge the unit and take it with you for power on the go.
